Memories of James Pokky
Jim was my best friend in high school and in life. We experienced great times together in the band, on the track team, in college, and in life after school. He was always there for me. Jim was my best man at my wedding and I was his best man at his and Pat's some years earlier. Jim and I experienced rough times when his younger brother Rich passed on before us. He was a great bass trombone player and musician along with being a fine friend. It was very sad for me to lose Jim, a great friend so early in life. I am sad that I was not able to attend his funeral and extend my condolences to his wife, Pat, and his son Matthew, as well as his extended family I knew so well and was a part of. I know, however, that he walks the streets of gold in God's kingdom and is whole again. I will see you one day again. Love in Christ Jesus, Darl.
